What services are included when celebrating our wedding at Castell Perelada?
Castell Perelada is much more than a dreamlike venue for your event; it is a location specialized in making unique, exclusive, and fully personalized experiences come true.
From the very beginning, you will have an Event Manager at your disposal who will address any questions you may have and handle the internal organization of your event at the Castell. Although external services will not be managed by our team, our Event Manager will be your main support throughout the preparations and can coordinate with your Wedding Planner, if you have one. Additionally, we offer you our excellent gastronomy by Paco Pérez, our spaces and facilities, and a specialized team to meet all your needs.
It is possible to rent the entire Castle?
No, Castell Perelada offers various spaces for hosting your event, but it is also home to some of our most prestigious businesses, such as Restaurant Castell Perelada, Casino Perelada or the Perelada Museum. For this reason, it is not possible to rent the entire castle. You can visit the spaces section and our virtual tour to explore all the areas available for your event. Please consult our team regarding the cost of each space based on your specific needs
It is possible to hold Pre and/or Post-Wedding events?
Yes, at Castell Perelada we offer the opportunity to enjoy a complete experience, with pre- and post-wedding celebrations that extend the magic before and after your “Yes, I do”. Perelada Resort provides countless options, including wine tourism visits with tastings, family brunches, golf tournaments with friends, and wellness treatments in our WineSpa. Feel free to contact our team to explore all the possibilities!
Do you offer accommodation for guests?
Yes, we offer the exclusive Hotel Peralada 5*, located just 1 km from the Castle. It features 64 luxury rooms, an outdoor pool, access to the water area and vinotherapy treatments at the WineSpa, an 18-hole golf course, and exclusive gastronomic offerings by Paco Pérez. For weddings with more than 100 guests, we will gift your wedding night stay.
Do you have your own kitchen, or do you work with catering companies?
Our gastronomy, curated by the prestigious chef Paco Pérez — awarded with five Michelin stars — is carefully elaborated in the Castell’s own kitchens by our dedicated team. Exceptionally, external catering may be accepted upon request. Please contact our team for more information.
What does the menu include?
Depending on the selected options, our menus always include: appetizer, starter, main course, wine service, desserts, wedding cake, and two hours of open bar. Furniture is also included in the case of the salon Mirador del Castell, along with our own tableware, printed menus, and the service provided by Castell Perelada.
It is possible to adapt or modify the menus for special dietary needs?
Yes, it is possible. We offer special menus for vegetarians, vegans, celiacs, and those with specific allergen requirements, among others. Our team ensures that every guest enjoys an exceptional culinary experience.
Can we bring our own wedding cake or beverages? Is there an additional charge?
Yes, you may bring both your own wedding cake and wine, however, a service charge will be applied in both cases.
What is the maximum capacity for a banquet at Peralada Castle?
The maximum capacity is 600 guests inside the Mirador del Castell, and 300 guests for banquets held in our outdoor spaces.
Do you have exclusivity for suppliers?
No. At Castell Perelada, we want you to always embrace authenticity and complete customization for your event. You may choose the suppliers you prefer and, if needed, we can recommend trusted local suppliers.
In addition to weddings, can other events be held at Castell Perelada?
The versatile spaces of Castell Perelada and its wide range of services allow for a great variety of both private and corporate events:
- Private events: family celebrations, birthdays, gala banquets or intimate dinners, marriage proposals, vow renewals or symbolic ceremonies, private or themed parties.
- Corporate events: business meetings and work sessions with exclusive rooms and technical equipment, team building activities and incentive trips, product launches, car launches and brand presentations, company or gala dinners, photoshoots.
- Cultural and artistic events: concerts, book or press presentations.

It is possible to rent only the space, without hiring catering services?
Yes, it is possible. For example, for small corporate events such as presentations, meetings or photoshoots. Please consult our team for all available options.
Can we visit Castell Perelada to see the spaces firsthand?
Yes, you can. Through our contact form, you may arrange an in-person visit or a video call. Our team of Event Managers will provide personalized guidance during a prior visit to help you discover the spaces and envision your big day together. Visits are always scheduled in advance to ensure exclusive attention and coordination with your availability.
Where is Castell Perelada located?
Peralada Castle is located in the heart of Empordà, in the province of Girona- Spain — a region known for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and winemaking tradition. We are just 7 km from Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, 40 km from Girona and only 130 km from Barcelona.
Access is quick and convenient thanks to the proximity of Girona-Costa Brava, Barcelona-El Prat and Perpignan airports, as well as the AVE high-speed train station in Figueres-Vilafant.
